New Video Newsletter is Up on YouTube!

A new episode of my video newsletter is up in which I chat about Lehigh Valley Comic Con, Easton Book Festival, Witches Day Out, and Creatures, Crimes, and Creativity Con.
I also read excerpts from my stories, “In the Span of a Heartbeat” published in Black Cat Weekly (Issue 176, January 2025) and “Isaac Geary’s Instant Utopia” published in Bright Mirror (Oddity Prodigy Productions, May 2025).
One correction: I mention that the Lehigh Valley Comic Con has one-day shows every “August and July.” That should be every August and December. I blame lack of sleep.

New Video Newsletter is Up on YouTube!

Had a few minutes to breathe today, so I recorded a new video newsletter. It’s a bit long at 18 minutes, but it covers a lot of ground including The Easton Book Festival, Shore Leave 45 SF convention, Lehigh Valley Comic Con in August, my recent Pennsylvania Press Club awards, and my latest short stories in the new Bright Mirror and Retreat anthologies. New Video Newsletter on YouTube!

My YouTube channel was experiencing abandonment issues given that my last video newsletter was over three months ago. YIKES! Since I had the day off, I recorded a brief update show today in which I prattle for 20 minutes about recent publications and awards, review a book about Harlan Ellison and a book by Harlan Ellison, and plug two upcoming events in my neck of the woods.

“Burn After Writing” – A Tribute to Harlan Ellison

On what would have been Harlan Ellison’s 86th birthday (May 27), Episode #11 of Got a Story for Ya is LIVE with “Burn After Writing,” a short story dedicated to Harlan and soon to be published in SCARY STUFF, an anthology by Oddity Prodigy Productions.

Legendary writer Adrian Halka has died. Disobeying his mentor’s instructions to burn all incomplete manuscripts upon his death, struggling writer Shane Conrad pilfers one of Halka’s unreleased novels. After publishing it as his own, Conrad learns the blistering consequences of playing with fire.
